Liverpool Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon – 14th June 2015 – 4:30:10
My first marathon and boy was it brutal. Injuring my knee on mile 9 meant for a horrendous last 6 miles. You can read all the gory details here.
Three Forts Challenge – 3rd May 2015 – 2:00:36
A very hilly trail run on the south downs in a cloud. Great fun and a decent time considering the terrain. Full race report here.
Richmond Half Marathon – 22nd March 2015 – 1:49:57
My second half marathon and it wasn’t that enjoyable. I had a cold and my time was slow and my heart rate was abnormally high. Full race report is available here.
Hampton Court Half Marathon – 22nd February 2015 – 1:47:42
First half marathon ever. Full race report here. What looked to be a wet and windy morning turned into prefect conditions. A great race and done in a much better time than I thought would be possible.
Runthrough Battersea Park 10k – 11th January 2015 – 51:08
First race of 2015 and it went amazingly well. I didn’t think I would be able to get anywhere near this time so exceedingly pleased to have done so. Next time I will be sub 50!
Goring 10k – March 2012 – 01:01:12
This was my first race ever. I had been running for a couple of months. Right in the middle of my illness and on an intense amount of meds. It was a very cold day, I think I remember it snowing…
Ecstatic to have you follow my blog. Where do you live? I gather NOT in the USA but couldn’t tell where. I run a bit, though less and less as I rack up the frequent flyer points circling the sun. Mostly 5 and 10K’s during triathlons now.
Hi Keith, not a problem! I found your blog on wordpress and it seemed very interesting! I am based in London, England although I love hearing about running, sports and exercise from around the world. I am hoping to start doing some triathlons next year. Just need to figure out the whole swimming thing!
I’m still “figuring out the swimming thing” too but not from a personal safety/sanitation perspective!
Best of luck!
